Nemacolin Off-Road Triathlon and Hammerfest

Short Course: Swim 500 meters— Bike 12K—Run 5K
Long Course: Swim 1100 meters—Bike 25K—Run 10K
Hammerfest: Run 5K—Bike 25K—Run 10K
Meet and start at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Pre-Race meeting: Adventure Center Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Transition Area: Lake Paige Marina Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. Drop off gear and follow directions to parking.
Race Start: 8:00 am—Short Course, 8:15 am—Long Course, and Hammerfest. Transition Areas open: 7:00am
This race course is designed to take full advantage of all that Nemacolin Woodlands has to offer. Long coursers will swim in both Lake Paige and Lake Taylor and will be treated to a long challenging mountain bike course that passes through “Crater” and Arden Estates as well as the ski slope area of the resort. The run course will fully utilize the varied terrain of “Crater” and “Arden”.
Short coursers will see much of the long course so that they will know what to aspire to for future years. The swim will take place in Lake Taylor, while the bike takes place in the ski slope section of the resort, and the run blasts through the “Crater” area.
There will be no aid on either bike course and two aid stations on the long course run leg. T/A and aid stations will be supplied with hydration beverage and gel provided by Hammer.
