MAD Description

August 18th —M.A.D.
Moraine Adventure Dash
Sprint Series #3

Start time: 8:00am, Location: Moraine State Park. This race will include 1 mile of open water swimming (flotation aids are accepted), 10-12 miles of awesome single track mountain biking, 5-6 miles of technical trail running, and navigation. All this combines for an event that will last 4 hours.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS for MAD

Racer: Mountain Bike, Bike Helmet, Source of Hydration
Team: Compass, Map Case (gallon Ziploc OK), Pen/pencil

Meet and start at Davis Hollow Marina.Take North Shore Drive past Mt. Union Road and restaurant is first road to the right.

Transition area opens at 6:00am, pre-race meeting is at 7:30am, and race start is at 8:00am.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each category—Co-Ed, Female, and Male—with the best prizes going to the Co-Ed division. Solo prizes will be awarded to top Male and Female finishers.
