January 26-27th — 2BD, Two Below Duo
Nemacolin Stage Race

Start Time: Saturday 11:00am, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort

This two day stage race is geared toward fun and will highlight all that the Nemacolin resort has to offer. Compete as a team of two in this Adventure Race--you are guaranteed to have a blast and see winter in a whole new light.

Race Details:
Stage 1 will begin at 11am on January 26 (2-4 miles) running with special tests. Stage 2 will begin at sunset with a 2 mile nighttime navigation. Stage 3 will be on Sunday January 27 at 11am and will include running/trekking and mountain biking with a total distance of 8-10 miles.

All races will include road, cart path and trail. Stage 2 will take place in darkness. Illumination is necessary. Check website for source for gear requirements. Teams are comprised of two members (any sex). We anticipate each stage to be approximately 2 hours long.

This race will begin with a prologue that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Prologue is scheduled to take place between 9:00-10:00 am, Saturday January 26, 2008. Details will be released to registered racers by January 22, 2008.

Prizes will be awarded to top three in each category--Co-Ed, all Female, and all Male--with the best prizes going to the Co-Ed division.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS for Two Below Duo: Stage 2 Nighttime Navigation
Each each teammate must have a hands free form of lighting (ie headlamp etc.), and each team must have a compass. Suggested gear includes extra batteries, and a supplemental source of light (flashlight etc.)

$60 per team 'til midnight 12/28
$80 per team 'til midnight 1/11
$90 per team 'til midnight 1/18
$100 per team 'til day of race.
